Team India has already lost the five match test series. England is leading the series by 3-1 after resounding 60-run victory in the fourth test. Talking about the fifth and final test, England win the toss and opts to bat first. Team India has made few changes, Ravichandran Ashwin is not playing the game due to injury, Ravindra Jadeja takes his place in Playing XI. Hardik Pandya makes way for Hanuma Vihari to make his test debut. Though Hanuma Vihari has been given a chance in the fifth test, however fans and cricket experts are not happy with the management’s decision of not giving chance to Karun Nair.

Karun Nair made his debut back in 2016 against England and scored a triple century but still didn’t get a chance in a single match of the five-match test series.

Sunil Gavaskar is fuming on the decision of not giving a chance to Karun Nair on Sony Six. He said, "He is not your favourite player. The selectors seem to have brought him. Don't think the team management likes him. Karun Nair has every right to ask the team management why he is not in the team. He deserves an answer. You didn't pick an extra specialist batsman earlier, but now that you have, Karun Nair deserves an answer."
Fans are also angry with the decision. Here is how people reacted to it on Twitter.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t make the playing eleven in the fifth test. Now Karun Nair has to wait till October as Team India will play against West Indies.
