With death is rising to 106, Kerala is witnessing the worst flood because of incessant rains since August 8. Meanwhile the public transport has been shut and Kochi airport which remains under water has now been closed till August 26. The damage of crops and properties is estimated to be worth of Rs 8000 crores. Over lakhs of people are rehabilitated to relief camps functioning in the state. Bollywood celebrities took it to social media platforms to urge their fans to donate to relief funds for the state.
Bollywood stars have done a great job by using their star power to help the victims in crisis. Some of the celebrities from south like Mammootty and his son Dulquer Salmaan have donated money for the cause. Sidharth Malhitra has come forward to help the people in crisis and donated around Rs. 10 lakhs. Famous Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor are in the list who have come forward to help the state. They shared a post on their official social media platforms to urge people to help the victims of flood.

After the crisis, the government has issued red alert in 14 districts and opened 35 dams in the state which is a warning sign for people. People are stuck and they don’t even have the basic necessities of life like water, food and shelter. So, on that we ask everyone out there to show some support by donating some amount as the whole is affected due to this horrible tragedy.
