Don’t you just hat when everything about you looks perfect apart from your eyes that say a different story. Yes, we are talking about the very own ‘dark circles’.
You know how many pictures have got ruined because of these unwanted dark circles. It is not just us, the common people who carry them around but even the celebrities have them. And that is why the concealers were invented. Right?
Do you know the reason that can cause the dark circles beneath your eyes? There can be many reasons like lack of proper sleep, lack of proper intake of water, and the changed haemoglobin levels. There are more reasons that can be added to the list.
Let us not talk about more reasons and learn about how we can cure them naturally.
1. Massage
Massage the skin under eye regularly with Almond oil and Vitamin E oil before going to sleep. Wash the face next morning with cold water and your circles will be gone in a few days.
2. Raw Potato
Potatoes have the natural bleaching agents in them which can be helpful for your skin. All you have to do is grate a potato or few depending upon the quantity of juice you want. Then soak a cotton ball in the juices extracted and place it on the dark circles. Regular use of this technique will remove the dark circles like magic.
3. Tomato
Just like potatoes, tomatoes have the bleaching agents too. The anti-oxidants present in them cure the discolouration under the eye. First you need to mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with one and a half teaspoon of lemon juice. Let the juice settle on your skin for 10-15 minutes and then wash it away with cold water. Be sure that the juice does not come in contact with your eyes as lemon juice can cause irritation.
4. Aloe Vera
Applying the gel of the Aloe Vera leaf can be very relaxing for the skin. It is an effective moisturiser and has anti-inflammatory properties. Extract the gel of the Aloe Vera leaf and massage it under your eyes. You do not have to wash the gel unless you find it sticky.
5. Tea bags
Cold tea bags can be good for skin. The caffeine present in tea bags shrinks blood vessels and reduces fluid retention in tissues. This makes the skin around your eyes look vibrant and glowing. Place the tea bags in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and then you can place them on your eyes. Wash in 10 minutes and this can be done 2-3 times a day. This will also help with the puffiness of the eyes. So, next time when you drink tea, save the used tea bags and enjoy the cooling effect under your eyes.
