Sanju is a box office superhit and that is no news to anyone. The biopic of Sanjay Dutt has been played to perfection by none other than Ranbir Kapoor and as per reports he has increased his endorsement fee right after the box offfice success.
As reported by DNA, “Ranbir has almost doubled his remuneration in the brand space. He is quite popular among the youth. While none of his failures deterred his brand value, his latest hit has only bettered it.”
So, he has doubled up his brand endorsement charges and the reports on on Rediff.com clears further curiosity by mentioning more details. The leading daily mentioned that usually the ‘Sanju’ used to charge between Rs 3 crore to Rs 3.5 crore per day on commercials. Ranbir chooses his brands very carefully and he has made his mind to choose some of the brands which he will shoot several of the commercials in the next couple of weeks.
As per repots he is currently endorsing for Asian Paints, Pepsi, Flipkart, Macroman, Panasonic, Renault, Saavn and Hero MotoCorp. Ranbir’s managing company’s co-CEO, Vijay Subramaniam said, “Ranbir has mostly 10 brands (endorsements) at any given time and this makes him quite exclusive.”
Though he has increased his remuneration but he is still not the the most valuable Indian celebrity as per brand value. As per Duff & Phelps, Virat Kohli tops the list with a brand value. Virat Kohli is higher on brand value than Shah Rukh Khan too. Virat’s brand value collects upto $144 million (Rs 912 crore), then comes Shah Rukh Khan on the list with $106 million (Rs 678 crore) and then Deepika Padukone with $93 million (Rs 595 crore).
