Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha who helmed the superhero project ‘Ra.One’ where Shah Rukh Khan played the role of ‘G. One’ is always surrounded by the questions on possibility of the sequel. Recently, he spilled the beans on the probability of the sequel, he said that the idea has not been ruled out as he and SRK are always discussing it.
"Neither of us have written it off. Shah Rukh Khan and I keep talking about it. But it needs one catalyst. It'll come either from him or me. Then we will get started. Every time we both meet, we talk about it, lets do this. But nothing exciting enough has happened so far," Anubhav told PTI.
The director is eagerly waiting to get the sequel started but he isn’t getting any exciting idea or content.
"I have given it a serious thought, may be on a long flight. Where can it go, what it could do and the possibilities of a story. There have been ideas but none exciting enough for me to sit down and punch it in. So lets see," he added.
Anubhav is currently waiting for his upcoming court room drama ‘Mulk’ starring Rishi Kapoor and Tapsee Pannu in pivotal roles to hit the theatres on August 3, 2018.
The courtroom drama tells the story of a Muslim family trying to reclaim its lost honor. The film questions the ethics and stereotypes created in our society, the trailer of the film was very well received by the audience and they did not stop raving about it for days. After Pink, Tapsee returns to the ground of method acting and she looks great.
