Veteran actress Rita Bhaduri who was a part of many films and TV shows breathed her last on Tuesday morning. The shocking news was broken by actor Shishir Sharma, he wrote:
"We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma.”
She had been ill for a while now and was hospitalised. The full of spirit actress was 62 and despite the kidney failure, she was working in popular show ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ that airs on Star Plus.
Everyone in the industry is mourning her death, many actors like Anuup Sonii, Vivek Dahiya, and Salil Sand took to their Twitter handles and expressed their deep grief on the loss of a 'great actor'.
Rita entered the glam industry in the 70’s and worked in many hit films including Govinda’s Hero No. 1 and Madhuri Dixit’s Raja for which she was given a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Rita Bhaduri also acted in Bhojpuri film titled Ganga Se Naata Ba Hamaar with actor Pankaj Sharma.
In 1997, she moved towards TV industry and started acting in the TV soap opera Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zarurat Hai.
She then went on to grace the TV screen with memorable roles in shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Kumkum, Khichdi and many others.
