Sachin Tendulkar who is famous for his international cricket for his records and figures across the world was impressed by Federer's form after the 20-time Grand Slam champion was spotted practicing his forward defense during his victory over Adrian Mannarino at Wimbledon.
In a recent tweet, Tendulkar was impressed by his skills and he said, “ As always, great hand-eye coordination. @rogerfederer, let’s exchange notes on cricket and tennis after you win your 9th @Wimbledon title.
Federer also replied to Tendulkar and said that he is ready to take notes now itself.
Mannarino had returned a long Federer backhand and Federer wasted no time in showing off his cricket skills, which captured social media by storm.
The funniest part of the story happened when ICC got involved, temporarily ranking Federer as the world's leading Test batsman. So according to ICC, Federer is breaking records in both the format of games.
The Defending champion Federer, who faces South Africa's Kevin Anderson in the men's quarterfinals on Wednesday, is on course to win a ninth title at the All England Club.
