The genre which is called “Guilty Pleasure Movies” is not an actual genre but they become like so for the audience with time or for some reason. Though most of the “Masala” or “Commercial” movies can be put into the box of guilty pleasure but here are the most movies which came to serve us one purpose but serving the other but both are good. These are the movies which are so bad that it’s good.
1. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham
Well, this movie takes you into a sanskari paradise which you never will go in a real life but also the other half of your mind says “Its’s so pretty”! Karan Johar, sure has that surmount talent of making you watch a movie, when you don’t believe in anything you see.
2. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna
Again, told you Karan Johar is gifted! Though, this movie is not that bad because of its complexities in relationships but if you hear the dialogues in the movie, you immediately feel like “What the F*&% is this?”
3. Chennai Express
Here comes the King of masala films and also illogical films. What else do you expect from Rohit Shetty?
4. Student Of The Year
Here goes Mr. Johar again! The lameness of this movie surpasses every other movie that Karan has made till date. This movie was probably just made for launching these amazing actors: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. What a contrast!
5. Sooryavansham
This movie is, I am pretty sure, in the list of everyone’s guilty pleasure. Sooryavansham can be a case study of how force feeding can actually make you like a film!
6. Hum Saath Saath Hai
Sooraj R. Barjatya, his movies are the breathing example of sanskar and religion, you can’t escape the fact that you watch this movie just for the joy of criticising it constantly.
Happy weekend y’ll. Now go on and enjoy these masterpieces!
