Commonwealth games 2018 turned out to be a great event for India as they ended with a total haul of 66 medals - 26 gold, 20 silver, and 20 bronze.
The interesting part of CWG 2018 was that the day 1 of the event came to end gold for Mirabai Chanu and the last day ended with a gold for Saina Nehwal and silver for Satwiksairaj Rankireddy on Sunday. So, yes, we can say that it was lady luck and women made India proud in CWG 2018.
It was proved that Commonwealth Games 2018 was all about women athletes of India when they created history on Sunday. Women's table tennis created history by reaching the finals and then made us proud by winning a first gold medal for India favorites Singapore in the gold medal match.
This is considered to be most successful events for India as old and young shine bright. With experience, there were some young athletes as well who won medals for the country in CWG 2018.
