Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is busy in the shooting for his upcoming movie 'Tanaji - The Unsung Warrior'. Saif Ali Khan is about to play the villain in this film. Ajay Devgan talked about his film during the promotion of the film 'Total Dhamal'.
Ajay Devgan is quite excited about the character of Saif Ali Khan in the film Tanaji, and he has said that “Saif is perfect for this character. Tanaji is a unique movie in terms of script, and therefore it demands strong actors in the film. We were looking for someone like Saif, and no one was better than him for this role.
You cannot just cast stars just because it is a big name. Apart from this; there should be another particular reason, and that is the experience. You need a lot of experience on the set, and that's why we went ahead with Saif”.
Ajay said that “this is a big budget film and that is why it is different because it demands a special kind of preparation and drama. It is my ambitious film, and that is why it is challenging to complete. It's a period drama film; it takes too much time”.
Saif Ali Khan has already started preparing for his role. In the movie, Saif is playing Uday Bhan Rathore, who was a Rajput General. Uday Bhan was the protector of Sinhgarh and fought with Tanaji. Saif Ali Khan is also taking the training of fencing for the film. Saif Ali Khan is working hard for this character. It is going to be released on 22 November this year. Om Raut is directing this film.
