Established in the year 1999 SHARMA JI was the first pure vegetarian Indian restaurant in Guangzhou, China. This restaurant came as a blessing in disguise for a lot of people, specially for Indian community and business travellers looking Indian vegetarian home cooked food.

On 27th of september 2015 Sharma Ji , one of oldest authentic indian vegetarian restaurants gave guangzhou a new landmark, Located in Lujing Lu at the base of Dongyue Hotel, Sharma Ji is one of the most exclusive and fine dine restaurant in guangzhou today.

Lujing Road in Guangzhou has always been first preference for business travellers from India. Lot of Indian Restaurants thrive here and being centrally located near to many whole sale markets , easy availablity of sim cards, currency conversion , fruits and grocery shops also helps making it first choice for Indian business travellers.

Sharma Ji has always enjoyed highest number of footfall and while the vast majority of the clientele at Sharma Ji are from India, the Sharmas say that in recent years, more local Guangzhou people have come here to enjoy themselves. They say that's thanks not only to friendly Sino-Indian relations, but also because local tastes have expanded, and elaborated.
