We have seen cars that run on the roads, there are plenty of it and they all different with different specifications and features. But the most different car was shown by Hyundai at the CES 2019 in Las Vegas, Elevate, the car that walks. Yes, it walks and crawls like a creature, it can walk on mountains, or roads that are not smooth. It walks with its robotic legs at a speed of 5kmph even at rough places. It is basically a vehicle with four legs that can be used for the exploration on other planets as well. The robotic car can climb a 5 feet wall, and even can jump a 5 feet gap.

The car can be beneficial in the natural disasters for the emergency rescuing of people in a difficult situation. Hyundai vice-president John Suh said, "What if a car designed with robotics could save lives in disasters. When a tsunami or earthquake hits, current rescue vehicles can only deliver first responders to the edge of the debris field. They have to go the rest of the way by foot. Elevate can drive to the scene and climb right over flood debris or crumbled concrete."

"Often car companies bring out lots of concepts which may or may not make it into production but it's great to think in new ways about mobility. For most of us, it's going to be wheels and roads but in extreme situations there may be scope for this sort of thing. There may well be applications in terms of emergency services - but there are very big technological challenges to make this sort of thing.”, David Bailey from Aston Business School said.
