Shah Rukh Khan is riding high on the response that ZERO’s trailer has received. Fans and movieholics cannot stop gushing about the visual spectacle that ZERO looks like.
Everything is going on ZERO’s side ensuring that it will be a blockbuster but still there was one thing that might have affected ZERO’s performance but thanks to Riteish Deshmukh, that the alleged problem has been eradicated.
So, Riteish was coming with his second Marathi venture titled Mauli on the same day as ZERO. This might have affected ZERO’s performance in Maharashtra as Marathi films are given preference during prime time as per a law by the Maharashtra government.
Shah Rukh Khan went ahead and asked Riteish to postpone the release of his next film and Riteish immediately agreed. SRK was so happy with his gesture that he took to Twitter to express his gratitude.
He wrote: “@Riteishd jab chota bhai bahut bada ho jaata hai. Thank you baby for the love respect and largesse of heart you showed me today. Grateful. Touched. I am so happy to have ‘asked’ something of a friend who kept my self respect higher than his own need.”
Ritiesh’s Mauli will now release early next year and he will also be seen in the fourth installment of hit comedy franchise Housefull.
SRK’s ZERO that also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles is all set to hit the theatres on December 21. The movie is helmed by Raanjhana director Anand L Rai.
