Shruti Seth – the bubbly girl from the much loved sitcom ‘Shararat’ got her image transformation when she played the role of a power hungry woman in Prakash Jha’s epic drama ‘Rajneeti’.
She did receive a lot of critical acclaim for her role but did it help Shruti in the long run?
Here’s what she has to say: "Not really, I received much praise for my performance in the movie but got instantly stereotyped into similar roles which didn't excite me much.”

She was also asked what is next that is happening with her, if her career life is concerned, she instantly replied: "On the career front, I have two shows coming up on Amazon Prime that will premiere in 2019. And yes I'm also hoping for the 'Shararat' reunion."
Shruti also came clean on her stand on the ongoing #MeToo movement, she said: "About time. I'm glad it's finally happened now. It has to sustain for us to be able to see long term results and better workspaces for all."

The actress recently walked as showstopper at an event where BIBA Girls and showcased their newest festive collection at the India Kids Fashion Week 2018.
She said: "It's always fun walking the ramp and being in the spotlight especially being surrounded by the tiny fashionistas. To see the kids and their infectious energy is heartwarming. It did feel like any fashion show, just as manic and chaotic backstage but once you are on the stage, everything looks perfect."

She also put forward her views on fashion and style, she said: "I've always believed in having my own signature fashion style when it comes to putting a look together."
