This year’s most anticipated release, superstar Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is all set to hit the theatres in a span of two weeks, on November 7, 2018. The magnum opus helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya traces the story of Indian pirates during the British era. The film’s trailer did not receive a positive response but still, the hype around the film is huge, thanks to Aamir Khan’s credibility at the box office.

The film, no matter what reviews it gets, will definitely set the cash registers ringing because of the stellar star cast and it will also take the advantage of being a solo release on the grand occasion of Diwali. There are speculations that the film can go ahead and hit the 50 crore mark on Day 1 itself.

The production cost of the film is really high, thus the makers are turning no stone unturned to turn their invested money into profits. Reportedly, YRF has asked the exhibitors that their ticket rates should be at least 10% higher than that of Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’, which is currently the highest grossing film of the year.

YRF said: “Please ensure all cinemas increase rates charged for “SANJU” by a minimum of 10% for the extended 4day weekend. On weekdays, the rates must be dropped by 25% from weekend rate. Please e-mail us the rates charged by you at all your cinemas for “SANJU” and proposed rates of “THUGS OF HINDOSTAN” for the extended 4-days weekend and weekdays. It is mandatory that all cinemas should confirm the rates & show timings with our office before commencing the advance booking.”
