Washing your face is a daily affair. There are some mistakes that we make even while washing our face. We generally ignore such thing that can really cause a threat to the skin.
We have written down some common mistakes that people make while washing their face.
* Make sure your hands are clean
The first thing that you should keep in mind while you begin with washing your face is that your hands should be cleaned. People generally skip this step. It is advised to wash your hands before washing your face.
*Using soap for washing face
Washing face is the common mistake that people make. Soaps are harsh for the skin as they remove the natural hydration from the skin. This can result into dry and flaky skin.
* Exfoliating daily
It is necessary to cleanse and exfoliate skin at regular intervals but doing it on a daily basis with the help of cleansers, scrubs, and manual exfoliators make skin dull. Dermatologists suggest using a cotton washcloth for exfoliating and doing it once a week is enough to keep skin healthy and glowing.
* Using water that is too hot or too cold
It is a common notion that cold water closes the skin pores while cold water opens them. It is just a myth. No water temperature affects the opening and closing of skin pores. Using water that is too hot or too cold can remove natural moisture from the skin. This will result in making the veins visible on your face.
* Washing more than necessity
People think that washing face after every hour will remove the germs on their face. It is advised to wash your face twice or thrice a day. Doing it more than that will cause it to become dry or even cause it to become oilier.
